Dr. Cynthia Meneses BSc(Hons), DDS, MEd.
Dr. Cynthia Meneses is a general dentist with nearly 20 years of experience in the field. Born and raised in Hamilton, she completed an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry at McMaster University in 2000, and then went on to obtain her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Toronto in 2004. More recently, she completed a Master of Education degree in Health Professions Education from the University of Saskatchewan in 2022.
In addition to practicing dentistry, Dr. Meneses has been very dedicated to teaching dentistry and was also appointed examiner of the National Dental Boards of Canada. She currently holds a position as Assistant Professor in the Comprehensive Care Program and Restorative Dentistry at the University of Toronto – Faculty of Dentistry.
In her down time, she enjoys spending family time with her husband and two sons, travelling, swimming, and watching her sons’ sporting events. Dr. Meneses also supports the community whenever possible, having volunteered many hours at the Hamilton General Hospital and St. Joseph’s Hospital, and currently sits on the Board of Directors of the Hamilton Aquatic Club.
After practicing dentistry outside of Hamilton for many years, Dr. Meneses is delighted to resume practice in her hometown
